Dear Friends,

First of all thank you very much for entering the competition.
I am really happy to see so many entries from around the world :)
It has been really hard to choose the best interpretation of the week
especially that I am a Libra;)

And the winner is … week 1

Here is Kay’s interpretation of the Magician:

The Magician stands, straight-backed and sure of his power to channel the
spiritual powers of the universe, gazing into a mysterious hole in the fabric of
time and space.

The tremendous force and power of the mysteries that our universe
contains might overwhelm some, but not the Magician. This simultaneously entrancing and
terrifying opening into the unknown could be a tidal wave, a worm-hole in space,
a desert sandstorm. Or it could be the visible effect of the magic that has been
stirred up by the Magician’s staff of power.
The Magician has earned his staff of power, his robe, and the turban upon his
head symbolising the great power of his connection to the spiritual powers
beyond him. The Magician is able to master the unseen powers, in order to make
change in the seen world. He is a shaman, and the luminous energies of the
universe are concentrated into the bright crystal atop his staff to be focused
out into change that will manifest in the real world.
As above, so below. The dark contours of the ground below the Magician’s feet
seem to writhe in the half-light, echoing in darkness the swirl of the brightly
lit portal between worlds.
